Guided Play

Join us for Modern American Canasta guided play at Waban Library Center. Want to play with an instructor present to get rule refreshers and strategy help during play? Do you need a crash course in scoring or special hands? Want to meet and connect with other canasta players? Sign up for Canasta Guided Play with Emily! We’ll provide the full setup, and have card holders available for anyone in guided play.

Open Play

We'll provide the full setup and organize games, all you need to do is show up. Bring a card holder if you want one. Emily will be available for questions that pop up, but the general idea is that it's independent play. This is meant to be social, fun and community building. If you are looking for a lively game that’s also about meeting and interacting with people, this is the spot to be.
