Join Week 1 of mahjong lessons. No experience needed. Gain an introduction to American Mahjong and see what all the fuss is about! No prior experience needed.
We will start from the beginning, explaining the tiles, NMJL card, The Charleston and play a game so you have a sense of general gameflow.

Everyone learns at a different pace. To feel confident playing mahjong, we typically find that at least three weeks of play, progressing from Week 1 to Week 2 to Week 3/Guided Play helps solidify the basic rules and strategies. Some people want additional guided play or strategy support after and others feel ready to dive into open play. The best way to improve is to play as much as possible (either in person or online) in a short period of time.
