Mah Jongg 1 Class at Moldova Restaurant

Intro to Mah Jongg Lesson 7-9pm

Are you curious what Mahjong is all about? Have you wanted to try it but are hesitating? Here’s a great opportunity! Join our intro to American Mah Jongg class at Moldova Restaurant in Newton. This is perfect for first timers or anyone who wants a “back to basics” approach and review of the 2024 card. Learn the tiles, the 2024 card, how to make a hand, and basic game play in a small group setting. This is a one time class, but at the end of the evening we can schedule a second follow-up class for anyone interested based on availability. We recommend 3-4 classes to fully feel comfortable with game play, but this will be a great start!

$40 per person + $15 for the cost of a 2024 Mah Jongg card (if needed). We have cards available for purchase or bring your own.

Food and drink available any time. Arrive around 6pm for time to mingle or eat before play. Let’s support Moldova Restaurant for having us.
